Since I’ve upgraded my Unifi package from 30Mbps to 300Mbps, so now I have the new Wifi 6 router by Zyxel which is provided by TM. I know many of you guys also using the same router. By default, once the new router is installed, the TM crew will help to set up the Wifi name and password. But in case you want to change the Wifi password to a new one by yourself, here’s how to do it.
Basically, Wifi name and password can be saved on our device and they’ll automatically connect to the Wifi when the device is within the network range. You don’t need to key in the password every time to connect to the network. Because of this, sometimes we forgot the password.

In this post, I’m sharing the tutorial on how to change Unifi Wifi name and password if you are using Zyxel router model EX3220-T0 which is the default router provided by TM.

How to change Unifi Wifi password on Zyxel router
Connect your device to the Unifi Wifi network to which you want to change the password.
Note: If you don’t want to change the Wifi network name, you can skip step 7.
- Open any internet browser.
- Go to http://192.168.0.1/.
- Enter your username and password and hit Enter. The default is as follows:
- Username: tmadmin
- Password: Adm@XXXX (XXXX is the last 4 digits of the router MAC address)
- Look for Wifi Settings box, and click the arrow at the bottom right corner of the box.
- If you checked the box next to Keep 2.4G and 5G the same, you’ll only have one Wifi network name and password.
- If you unchecked the box next to Keep 2.4G and 5G the same, you’ll have the option to change Wifi network name and password for both channels.
- In Wifi Name box, enter your new Wifi network name.
- In Wifi Password box, enter your new password.
- Click Save.
- Reconnect to your Wifi network using the new password.
That’s it, done.
Note: The router username and password can be found on the sticker at the bottom of the router, together with the MAC address and the IP address.
