The following are two methods to find and view the router’s IP address.
Method 1: Find router IP address from the Wifi status
- Click Start button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network & Internet.
- Select Status.
- Select Network and Sharing Center.
- Click on the name of current active connection.
- In Wifi Status window, click Details.
- Look for IPv4 Default Gateway and your router IP address is on it’s right.
Method 2: Find router IP address from command prompt
- Press Windows key.
CMDand press Enter key.
- In the command prompt, enter
ipconfigand press Enter key.
- Look for Default Gateway, your IP address is on it’s right.
Done! Now you have the router IP address.
You can use the router IP address to access the web-based utility page. To do this, you must include http:// followed by the router IP address. For example http://192.168.0.1.
