How to activate Maybank2u account

If you already have a Maybank account, here’s how to activate Maybank2u. Maybank2u is an online banking service offered by Maybank, a major financial services provider in Southeast Asia.

Maybank2u allows customers to perform financial transactions and manage their bank accounts through a secure website or mobile app. This includes checking account balances, making transfers, paying bills, and more.

How to activate Maybank2u account

To activate Maybank2u, you need to have a Maybank account. Here are the steps to activate Maybank2u:

1. Go to www.maybank2u.com.my.
2. Click on Register Now on the top right corner.
3. Key in your Card No and PIN.
   • The PIN is your 6-digit ATM/Debit/Credit Card Personal Identification Number (PIN).
   • Tick on the Terms & Conditions and click Continue.
4. Create your Maybank2u username and password, then key in your email.
5. Key in the TAC number sent to your registered phone and click Confirm.
6. Set up your Security Image, Phrases, and Questions.
   • These are important to help keep your account secure.
7. Click Done once you’ve completed the registration.
8. You’ll be redirected to the Maybank2u homepage where you can log in to your new account.

How to activate Maybank2u debit card

You may follow the steps below to activate your debit card for online purchases:

1. Log in via www.maybank2u.com.my.
2. Go to your Settings.
3. Click on Cards.
4. Click Manage Debit Cards.
5. Click Debit Card E-Commerce Activation.
6. Click Activate.

I don’t have a Maybank account. Can I still register for a Maybank2u account?

If you do not have a Maybank account, you’ll need to open an account in order to register for Maybank2u. You can either do it online by signing up for a MAE account via the MAE app, or walk in to a nearby Maybank branch.

To sign up for a MAE account online, follow these steps:

1. Download MAE by Maybank2u from the Play Store or App Store, and launch the app.
2. Select Apply for a MAE account.
3. Key in your details.
4. Snap a photo of your IC.
5. Create your Maybank2u ID.
6. Your account will then be activated.
