Here’s how you can enable the Dark Mode in Windows 10. You’ll be able to turn the bright white background color for almost all apps to black or dark color. I also provide the steps to enable the Dark Theme in Edge.
Since the last major update — Windows 10 Version 1803, Microsoft has enabled us to toggle between light and dark backgrounds. So, if you wanted to enable the dark mode, make sure your Windows version is updated to at least October 2018.
Just to make sure your Windows is updated to the latest version, follow these steps:
- Click Start button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Update & Security.
- Select Windows Update.
If there is no new update required to your Windows 10, you can be sure that the Windows is the latest version.
