Tired of waiting to click the “Skip Ad” button on a YouTube video while watching your favorite video? Do you know you can let Chrome automatically click the YouTube “Skip Ad” button for you? This is not an ad blocker, it just automates the process of clicking the “Skip Ad” button on YouTube.
This is basically useful when you are watching a youtube video (or a playlist), and an ad starts playing. Youtube allows you to skip the ad after 5 seconds, but if you can’t be bothered to click it yourself (or you are AFK), this extension clicks that button for you.
Honestly, I can watch 10-seconds ads to support the YouTuber. But 2-minutes ads and sometimes ads appear every 4 or 5 minutes in the 20-minutes long video, what do you think I’ll do? I’ll click the skip ad button right away when it appears. Or sometimes I just play another video.
Let’s see how you can automatically skip YouTube ads in Google Chrome, continue reading below.
