Is it worth upgrading?
Definitely yes. These packages are a lot cheaper than standalone Astro. But which package is the best?
Looking at the packages, the difference between 30Mbps and 100Mbps is only RM40. Clearly, the latter package is the one you should choose. And also the overall price is way cheaper compared to if you subscribe to a separate package.
Understandably, this is how these companies make money. It’s not that the 100Mbps packages cheaper, it’s the other way around. They purposely make the 30Mbps expensive so customers will choose for higher speed.
Final verdict
Honestly, I highly recommend upgrading if you’re applicable but have not yet done so. These packages are definitely cheaper than the stand-alone Astro pack and any broadband packages.
But wait, I think there is a package cheaper than this, it’s a package where Astro collaborates with Allo broadband, you can read Astro and Allo broadband package review here.
