Learn how to hide your Streamyx Wifi network name (SSID) to prevent it from being seen by strangers. Your Wifi network won’t be seen by anybody when they scan for an available Wifi network.
This method is very useful, once the Wifi network name is hidden, you or anyone will not be able to find it if you are using an automatic Wifi scan on your device.
- Turn on your computer or any device you’re going to use for this tutorial.
- Turn on the modem.
- Connect your computer to the modem through the Wifi; the default SSID and password can be found on the sticker at the bottom of the modem.
