Here’s how to turn off Wifi notification on Android. To stop receiving every available public Wifi notification, you need to disable this feature in the Wifi advance settings.
Basically, Android is built with the ability to spot any available public Wifi network when the device is within the range.
If you forgot to turn off Wifi on your Android device when you leave your house. Every time there is a public Wifi available in the range along with your route, your Android device will show a notification of the Wifi network.
To avoid your device from giving you this notification over and over again, whether you turn off your Wifi (need to turn off every time you leave the house) or you can turn off completely in the Wifi notification.

How to turn off Wifi notification on Android
- Open Settings.
- Tap on Wifi to go to the Wifi setting.
- Tap on More or the three horizontal dots icon located at the top right.
- Select Advanced option.
- Tap on Network notification to toggle the setting On and Off.
Done! That’s it. From now on, you will no longer receive any Wifi notification on your Android device.
Note: If you feel the need to connect to the public Wifi network, you have to do it manually. You can do this by turning the Wifi option off and on, then tap on the Wifi network.
