As you already knew, I just ditched Unifi Mobile for Digi Postpaid Family plan. I have been using Digi Postpaid 90 for about 2 weeks and so far, I’m satisfied with the performance. So, this is my Digi Postpaid 90 review from my personal experience which is the main line of my Digi Postpaid Family plan.
In this review, I will mostly compare Digi with Unifi Mobile. So, you will have a better view of Digi Postpaid 90 plan interm of monthly fee, rebate, internet quota, internet speed, and some add-ons offered in the plan.

Digi Postpaid 90 plan
Plan | Detail |
Monthly fee | (RM15 rebate for 12 months) |
Internet data | 50GB + 10GB (Free bonus 10GB for 12 months) |
High-speed internet | Yes |
Voice calls | Unlimited to all network |
SMS | Free 280 SMS |
Add-ons | Unlimited Netflix & YouTube (Stay with Digi for 12 months) |
As you can see in the above table, the plan now has RM15 rebate for 12 months. So, my monthly fee is only at RM75 and also I’m eligible for an additional 10GB internet quota for 12 months as well – new line, switch to Digi, or Prepaid to Postpaid Plan change.
High-speed internet
So far, this has been amazing. I can get the download speed from as low as 5Mbps (sadly this is right inside my house at the living room area) similar to Unifi Mobile to as high as 150Mbps (other places) which is totally different from Unifi Mobile where the maximum speed I can get around 25Mbps.
Network coverage
Overall, Digi has better coverage compare to Unifi Mobile. Those areas that Unifi Mobile has low coverage, for example, inside my house, both only has 2 bar maximum and the speed is comparable which is at 5Mbps.
Other than that, Digi has slightly better network coverage and speed by far faster than Unifi Mobile.
Voice calls and SMS
The voice call has never been an issue, both offer unlimited calls to any network. For SMS, I seldom use. Mostly use WhatsApp or Telegram app, so this also will never been an issue for me.
Internet quota
50GB with additional 10GB surely enough for me, other than watching YouTube videos, I’m not a heavy user. With that in mind, I subscribed to unlimited Netflix and YouTube add-ons which require me to have a 12 months contract with Digi.
Anyway, even in this 2 weeks, I only used around 10GB and most of my quota goes to Facebook and TikTok videos only.
Add-ons
Obviously, the add-ons is optional. Here is the list of the add-ons which required you to stay with Digi for 12 months if you add any one of them in to your plan, which mean no additional charge to your monthly bill:
- Get extra 20GB all-access high-speed Internet every month for FREE
- FREE Unlimited high-speed Internet for TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook with no speed cap
- FREE Unlimited high-speed Internet streaming for YouTube and Netflix with no speed cap
- FREE Unlimited high-speed Internet for our supported games with no speed cap
12 months contract
As i understand correctly, the contract is not similar to a standard contract when you sign up for Unifi or Astro as an example. With Unifi or Astro, if you are to terminate your account, you need to pay the penalty which is equivelent to the balance months you still have with them.
For Digi, I only need to pay penalty worth of RM30 if I want to terminate my account anytime within the 12 months contract period. So, this souldn’t be an issue.
Final verdict
Honestly, moving to Digi Postpaid 90 is the right decision. So far in this 2 weeks, I have never experience any issue which I encountered with Unifi Mobile. Hopefully this will continue and I don’t need to think of jumping to another network provider anymore.
As you already aware from my previous post, with this move, I can save RM53 every end of the month. Let’s say the RM15 rebate is over after the 12 months period end, I still have some saving.
That’s it my review of Digi Postpaid 90. I suggest you to read also my review of Digi Postpaid 38 where Digi offer rebate RM10 for life for customer over 60 year-old which I subscribed for my parents.
