Here’s how you can view your router MAC address in Windows 10. Usually, you can easily find the MAC address of the router as it is printed on the sticker located at the back or bottom of the router.
However, if due to some reason you can’t find it, follow this guide. You can use the following methods to view the router MAC address. MAC address is also known as the physical address or hardware address.
Make sure to connect your computer to the router by wired or wireless. Also, it is better if you know the router’s IP address (internet address) in order to match with the MAC address (physical address).

How to view router MAC address in Windows 10
Follow the steps below to find and view your router MAC address.
- Press Windows key.
- Type
cmd
and press Enter. - In Command Prompt windows, type
arp -a
and press Enter (it will display a list of IP addresses and their corresponding MAC addresses, see image at the beginning of this article). - Under Internet Address, your router IP address is at the first line (in this case, it is 192.168.0.1).
- Under Physical Address, to the right of the IP address is the MAC address of the router (image above shows the IP address of the router is 192.168.0.1 and the MAC address is 34-e8-94-52-8d-08).
- Type
exit
or click x to close the Command Prompt window.
Done. Now you have the router MAC address.
There are a few methods to view the MAC address of the router. You also can use ipconfig /all
in the Command Prompt or view them through the router web-based utility.
