1. Open Telegram app.
2. Select the three-horizontal lines.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Privacy and Security.
5. Select Groups and Channels.
6. Under Who can add me section, change it from Everybody to My Contacts.
7. Tap the check icon on the top right to save the settings.
8. Done.

That’s it. Now only people in your contact list is allow to add you to Telegram groups or channels. You can rest assure that you’ll not be added to a spam groups or channel anymore.
