Telegram is now available for computers. In this post, I’ll show you how to set up Telegram Desktop. In order to use Telegram Desktop, you must have Telegram account and Telegram app is installed on your phone.

Telegram Desktop comes with a bunch of features, including Picture-in-Picture mode, the ability to rotate photos and videos in the media viewer, the ability to change the playback speed when watching videos, and many more.

How to set up Telegram Desktop

It’s super easy to set up, just follow the step-by-step instruction below:

1. Download and install Telegram Desktop.
2. Open Telegram Desktop.
3. Select Start messaging.
4. Enter your phone number.
5. Select Next.
6. Select to Receive code.
7. Open Telegram app or select Send code via SMS.
8. Enter the code.
9. Select Next or it will automatically open Telegram Desktop.
10. Done.

Once Telegram Desktop loaded, give it some time to sync all chats and media with the messenger on your phone.

By default, you’ll be presented with a list of group/channel/chat on the left, your messages in the middle and the detail info on the right.
