How to change DNS Server on Fire TV
The following is the step-by-step instruction to change the DNS server on Fire TV to use Google DNS.
- At Home screen, select Settings.
- Select My Fire TV.
- Select About.
- Select Network.
- Write down the IP Address and Gateway.
- Go back to Home screen and select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select the Wifi network your device is currently connected to.
- Press the three verticle lines button on your remote control.
- Press Select button to confirm.
- Select your Wifi network to connect.
- Enter your Wifi password and select Advanced.
- Enter the IP Address (from step 5) and select Next.
- Enter the Gateway (from step 5) and select Next.
- Enter 24 for Network Prefix Length and select Next.

8.8.8.8
for DNS 1 and select Next. - Enter
8.8.4.4
for DNS 2 and select Connect. - Done.
