Still remember my previous post about getting my new ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325E laptop? Been using it almost everyday. Mostly for web surfing, blogging, trading, and watching movies. Here’s what happen after three years of using it.

What can I say, overall experience is amazing! It still feel like a new laptop. I upgraded to Windows 11 around Jun this year, initially, feel like a bit lag, but supposed that due to the Windows 11 itself.

However, after a few months of using it (with some sofware update), now it running smooth like butter, blazing fast like a new laptop!

ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325E review – After 3 years

I’m only going to share just a few key important things that I like about this laptop in these three years, what happened to it and is it still reliable in today’s environtment.

Performance

In term of performance, the Intel i5 11th Gen processors and 16GB LPDDR4X RAM provide solid performance for my general tasks and productivity. With fast NVMe SSD options, it remains quick for booting and data access.

Build Quality

ZenBook series is known for its premium build, lightweight design, and durable aluminum chassis. Since it’s been well-maintained, the physical hardware still hold up until today.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A

The number one reason I choosed this laptop was because it has USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A. This I/O port has been the core of my usage. Most of the thin laptops don’t have this port.

Battery

Battery can last up to 8 hours, but, for my normal usage, I can get up to 6 or 7 hours. However, after 3 years of using it, sadly, the battry died at the age of 3 years old.

I sent to Asus Service Center (TOPWIN IT) and got a new battery replacement. It cost me RM300 with 3 months warranty.

When I reached there, the door is closed and they put a table in front of the door with a sign “Open”. I can’t go in to see them, but I need to press the door bell.

Once I pressed the door bell, the staff came out and asked about my laptop issue. I explained everything and left my laptop there. After one day, they texted me about the battery price and labour charge.

Once I agreed, they ordered the battery and completed the battery installation. I collected my laptop within the same week.

Is ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325E still reliable?

Honestly, ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325E remains a reliable laptop even after three years (at the time of writing this) for tasks like web browsing, office work, media consumption, and light editing, provided it’s been well-maintained.

If you want it, just go ahead and buy it. You will not regret. If you’re buying a used one, check its condition, particularly the battery health, keyboard, and screen, to ensure it meets your needs.
