Finally, I have made my decision and ditched Unifi Mobile to move to Digi. In my previous post, I compared some of the best postpaid plans to replace Unifi Mobile which in my experience is getting worst than ever. If you haven’t read the article, you can click this link.
Long story short, Unifi Mobile is no longer how it used to be. They are moving in the wrong direction, even though right before I switch to Digi, I received a notification saying that:
We have recently completed unifi mobile network upgrade in your area. Has your mobile video streaming experience improved in the past few weeks?
Unifi
However, I can barely notice the difference at all. So, I was wondering what upgrade actually was that? If anyone of you knows about this upgrade and really experience the difference, please share in the comment below.

My new Digi Postpaid Family plan
This is what my new Digi Postpaid Family plan looks like:
Plan | Detail |
Digi Postpaid 90 | RM75/month 60GB of internet data High-speed internet Unlimited calls Free 300 SMS Unlimited Netflix and YouTube |
Digi Postpaid 30 | RM30/month 20GB of internet data High-speed internet Unlimited calls |
Digi Postpaid 20 | RM20/month 10GB of internet data High-speed internet Unlimited calls |
Digi Postpaid Family plan | RM125/month 90GB of internet data High-speed internet Unlimited calls |
As you can see in the above table, my new monthly commitment is only RM125 compared to my previous plan which is RM178:
- Unifi Mobile postpaid plan = RM59 x 2 = RM118
- U Mobile GX68 = RM60
- Total monthly = RM178
- Difference = RM178 – RM125 = RM53 saving monthly
With the new Digi Postpaid Family plan, now I can save RM53 per month which I think is a huge amount. It has been almost 2 weeks with Digi now, I think my decision is right to ditch Unifi Mobile and I’m looking forward to a good experience with Digi.
How about you? Are you a Unifi Mobile subscriber? What is your experience with them lately, especially after they kick off Jendela program that made the line coverage even worst?
