You can connect your other email account to your Outlook account to import and manage all of your emails in one place. Outlook allows you to connect up to 20 other email accounts. Here’s how to add or remove linked email account in Outlook.
Once you’ve added the other email account, you can easily import and view them from Outlook. In another word, with a single sign-on to Outlook account, you’ll be able to manage all of your email accounts in one place.
First of all, you must have an active Outlook email account to proceed with the following tutorial. You can go to Outlook website and create your free personal email account.
And you must have other email accounts such as Gmail or Yahoo to add them as a connected email account to your Outlook email.

How to add email account in Outlook
- Open any internet browser.
- Go to
https://outlook.live.com/
and log in to your Outlook account. - On the toolbar, select Settings icon.
- In the Quick Settings windows, select View all Outlook settings.
- In the Settings windows, select Mail, then select Sync email.
- Under Connected accounts > Add a connected account:
- select Gmail – if you want to add your Gmail account
- select Other email accounts – if you want to add other than Gmail account
- Follow the instruction accordingly.
How to remove connected email account in Outlook
- Open any internet browser.
- Go to
https://outlook.live.com/
and log in to your Outlook account. - On the toolbar, select Settings icon.
- In the Quick Settings windows, select View all Outlook settings.
- In the Settings windows, select Mail, then select Sync email.
- Under Connected account > Manage your connected accounts, point your cursor on any account and select Delete.
- Once done, select Save.
This Outlook account works exactly like Microsoft Outlook. You’ll no longer need to log in to every email account. Just go to Outlook website, log in to your account and everything is ready.
