City Broadband by Allo is offering some cheap and affordable fibre broadband options. Let’s dig into some detail about their broadband plan in this City Broadband package review.

Basically, City Broadband offers a total of four fibre broadband options that comes with an unlimited quota. It comes from as low as 50Mbps and the highest is at 1Gbps with an unlimited quota. The detail of each option is as follows:

City Broadband package

The Limited time only promo (duration: 1st December 2020 until 28 Feb 2021) is valid for 24 months and not applicable for 12 months subscriptions. For 12 month contract, you’re required to pay a one time charge of RM300.

Symmetrical speed

One interesting thing City Broadband offers in these plans that you can’t find on others is the symmetrical speeds. This means you’ll get the same uploads speed and downloads.

Voice plan

Unfortunately, the fibre broadband plan does not come with a voice service. However, if you’re interested you can subscribe for:

1. Residential package or Business package 50Mbps:
   • Add-on RM20 for 1 Voice Line + 1 DECT Phone
2. Business package 100Mbps and above:
   • FREE 1 Voice Line + 1 DECT Phone

Call charges are set at RM0.08sen/minutes.
