Screen recording feature is already built-in on iOS 11 and you can pretty much use this feature to easily record your iPhone or iPad screen. With this screen recording feature, you also will be able to choose whether to record the screen with or without audio.
To make it easy for you to start recording, the first thing you need to do is to add the Screen Recording button to your Control Center. To do this, go to Setting > Control Center > Customize Controls. Under More Control, scroll down to Screen Recording and tap the green plus button to add it to the Control Center.
How to record iPhone or iPad screen on iOS 11
Step 1: On your Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to pull up the control center.
Step 2: Since you already added the “Screen Recording” button in the above steps. There will be a screen record button among other control buttons.
Step 3: Tap the “Screen Recording” button. You will see a “Start Recording” and a “Microphone Audio” status.
Step 4: Tap on “Microphone Audio” to turn On audio recording and tap “Start Recording” to start screen recording. You will see a three-second countdown before your phone starts recording.
Note: While recording, the network/clock bar at the top of your screen will be red.
Step 6: To stop recording, you can either tap the red bar at the top of your screen or by bringing up the control center. When you tap the stop button, the screen recording will stop and the video will be saved to your iOS photos.
