Use the following step by step to change the default DNS server to Google Public DNS server in Windows 10.
- Click Start.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network & Internet.
- Select Status.
- Select Network and Sharing Center.
- Select Change adapter settings.
- Select the active network.
- Select View status of this connection.
- Select Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4).
- Select Properties.
- Click to check Use the following DNS server addresses.
- Enter Google Public DNS server as follows:
- Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
- Alternate DSN server: 8.8.4.4
- Click OK to save the changes.
